He's a one-time drug dealer and former LA gang member who was acquitted of murder in 1996, but Snoop Dogg has nonetheless managed to overcome his 'gangsta' reputation to become somewhat of a 'grandpa' figure. The 52-year-old turned out to be an unofficial champion of the Olympics this summer when working for American channel NBC; he carried the Olympic flame for a short leg in the final relay before popping up at several events in Paris.
