A striptease contest that saw contestants take their clothes off for the chance to win an iPhone has sparked fury in Russia, with authorities forcing revellers to make a grovelling apology and threatening them with jail. Organisers asked two men and two women to go to the front of the club, understood to be in a bunker in the south-eastern Astrakhan region, and begin taking their clothes off. Video footage from the night showed three of them them nervously getting naked, while a 22-year-old woman was happy to strip off for the chance to win the Apple product.
