Ex-White House doctor reveals what Trump said to him in call after second assassination attempt
Donald Trump called a flurry of allies after the second assassination attempt on his life on Sunday. Rep. Ronny Jackson (R-Texas), once Trump's White House physician, was one of those who spoke with the former president. He also was the one who tended to Trump's wound after a bullet grazed his right ear during the first assassination attempt at a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania on July 13. This time, there are no injuries to assess because the gunman wasn't able to fire off a shot before he was targeted by the former president's security detail.
