Laura Harrier’s 2025 Met Gala look took inspiration from a simple waistcoat and trousersâ€"two traditional menswear staplesâ€"and turned them on their head for an ethereal take on the night’s theme, “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style.†But the outfit’s origin is just as interesting: It’s by Gap Studio. Designed by Gap, Inc., creative director Zac Posen, who accompanied Harrier to the event, the two-piece ensemble makes the most of airy, exaggerated sleeves, an ultracinched waist, and some of the widest-leg pants we’ve ever seen.
