CMA Awards 2025: 1st winners announced on 'GMA'

It's time to honor country music's biggest stars.

The59th annual CMA Awardsare tonight and some of the genre's biggest stars, including Lainey Wilson, Morgan Wallen, Luke Combs and more, are up for awards that recognize excellence in country music this year.

Ahead of thestar-studded event, winners of two categories were announced on "Good Morning America" on Wednesday morning, with Post Malone taking home one of the first two awards.

The CMA Awards will air live from Nashville's Bridgestone Arena on Wednesday, Nov. 19, at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.

The event will be available to stream the next day on Hulu.
