Taken aback, the original poster confronted the woman, telling her not to "yell at my kids." But the woman replied that she was "creating" and the children were "ruining her shot," insisting that the group "would have to leave."

When the Reddit user reiterated her request not to yell at her children, the exchange turned personal. The woman questioned the relationship between the Reddit user and the children, stating: "There is no way they are your kids."

The Reddit user notes that one of the children is biracial, implying that the comment may have been racially motivated or, at the very least, insensitive.

"I got a little mad, I said very calmly, They are with me, they are my kids and don't yell at my kids," the post continued. The influencer then packed up her belongings and left, but not before dismissively muttering, "Ok boomer."

"Who would have thunk it, a nice Sunday afternoon and kids wanting to play at the playground," the Reddit user concluded, adding, "I hope the rest of her week goes better."

The post has since sparked discussion, with users debating public space etiquette.

"Honestly, nothing ruins a park day faster than someone treating a playground like a photo studio and forgetting it's a place for kids to be kids," one user commented. "Glad you stood up for those little humans—people need to chill and remember parks aren't just for 'content creation,' they're for fun and laughter."

Another commenter doubled down on the idea of it being a public space, writing, "I'm sorry, but does she own the park? Lady, you're out in public, not on a studio set. People are allowed to use the park, and if your shot gets ruined, that's on you, not the public."
