The fourth installment in the series comes four years after Marvel'sSpider-Man: No Way Home. Brand New Daywill pick up where the series left off, a world erased of Spider-Man's legacy. In the 2021 superhero film, Spider-Man asked Doctor Strange to cast a spell to wipe the world of his memory for a chance to live a normal life as Peter Parker.

"We have to deal with the fact that he decided he was going to give up being Peter Parker, and he was gonna focus on being Spider-Man, because being Peter Parker was too hard. So that's what the movie is about," producerAmy PascaltoldDeadlinein December 2024.

When asked what roles she'd love to take on in the future, Sink replied, "I'm kind of open to whatever," but loves a good challenge.

"I'm finding myself gravitating towards challenges, which is good," she explained. "One thing that's important to me is to really tap into every side of myself as an actor. When I'm choosing a new project, the first thing I look for is: How is this going to push me in ways I haven't been pushed before? Which is a good period to be in right now because I've been doing this for a very long time, but I'm still very young, and there's so much more to learn as I grow older and step into more adult roles."

The Whaleactress continued, "So there's no specific genre that I'd like to do. Although I feel like in a couple of years I'm going to be like, 'I just want to do a comedy or something really light,' which I've been saying for a while. But I still gravitate towards darker, more demanding things."

Spider-Man: Brand New Dayis in theaters July 31.
