
Barefoot hero wades into Hurricane Francine to save Louisiana man trapped in car during live TV broadcast
A barefoot hero risked his life to save a Louisiana man who got trapped in his car during disastrous flood conditions caused by Hurricane Francine. On Wednesday around 8:45 pm, Miles Crawford, an ER nurse at University Medical Center in New Orleans, ran into the storm after finding out a pickup truck driver was quickly sinking into the deep water. During a live TV broadcast, the good Samaritan didn't hesitate to save the unidentified man after running back to his home to grab a hammer to break the driver free.
