Former Attorney General Alberto Gonzales became the latest high-profile Republican to endorse Kamala Harris – in a stinging op-ed where he says Donald Trump would abuse the tremendous powers of the presidency for his own gain. Gonzales, who served during the George W. Bush administration, says he has a unique perspective as the only person to serve as both AG and White House counsel. It was that office that featured prominently during the House January 6 Committee hearings, with members of the office resisting Trump's bid to overturn the election.
