Kamala Harris' record on wanting to ban handguns revealed after she told Oprah Winfrey she would shoot intruders
Vice President Kamala Harris once backed a San Francisco ballot proposition to ban handguns, despite now celebrating her ownership of a gun and her promise to shoot someone if they intruded into her home. Harris endorsed the 2005 Proposition H that would ban possession of handguns within city limits by San Francisco residents unless they were active law enforcement or military personnel. It also imposed a ban on the manufacture, distribution, sale and transfer of firearms and ammunition within the city.
