Baseball fans see Trump-Kamala omen in Dodgers' World Series victory

The Dodgers were crowned World Series champions on Wednesday night - but the next US president may have been anointed as well in the process. Of course, the election between Democratic candidate Kamala Harris and Republican candidate Donald Trump will be decided next week. And as pointed out by FiveThirtyEight's Nathaniel Rakich, Trump lost in the election the last time LA won the World Series in 2020. That time, the Dodgers defeated the Rays after a Covid-shortened MLB season, while Trump was defeated by current President Joe Biden in the presidential race a week later.
