Former New York Governor is brutally attacked by gang of kids while trying to stop them climbing fire escape
Former New York Governor David Paterson has been savagely attacked by a group of teenagers after he and his stepson tried to prevent them from climbing a fire escape in Manhattan. David Paterson, 70, and his stepson, Anthony Chester Sliwa, 20, came across the teenagers on Second Avenue near East 96th Street shortly before 9pm on Friday. A confrontation apparently erupted after Paterson, who is legally blind, and Sliwa told the three young men to stop scaling the fire escape.
