Ozarks pastor who shot wife's lover after tracking them down to restaurant is thrown a bail lifeline
A Missouri pastor has been granted bail two years after he allegedly shot his wife's lover after he caught them at a restaurant together. Matthew Dedmon, 49, has been charged with first degree murder and armed criminal action for the May 28, 2022, shooting of Joe Newburn. Police said Dedmon - a pastor at Heritage Baptist Church- drove to Ozark Square and observed his wife with Newburn at the Iguana Roja Restaurante when he confronted them, reported Ozarks First.
