All passengers on board a American Airlines plane and US Army helicopter are believed to have been killed in a mid-air crash near Reagan National Airport in Washington DC. Flight 5342 from Wichita, Kansas, with 60 passengers and four crew collided with a Blackhawk helicopter near Reagan National Airport just before 9pm EST on Wednesday. Transport Secretary Sean Duffy agreed with President Donald Trump that the crash was preventable, while American Airlines appeared to point the finger at the helicopter pilot.
