Sir Mick Jagger has paid a heartbreaking tribute to his former girlfriend Marianne Faithfull following her death at the age of 78. The Swinging Sixties pop icon and actress died peacefully in London today, her spokesperson has said. Posting on X, Sir Mick wrote: 'I am so saddened to hear of the death of Marianne Faithfull. 'She was so much part of my life for so long. She was a wonderful friend, a beautiful singer and a great actress.
