California National Guard protecting designer boutiques from looters after LA fires
Members of the California National Guard were seen standing outside the luxury shops at Palisades Village as officials warned about looting amid the LA fires. It comes as authorities said on Monday that an increase in wind strength could help the fire spread faster and transport dangerous burning embers greater distances in the coming hours. And once winds reach 30mph or more it becomes too dangerous to fly firefighting aircraft, which are currently being used to battle the flames.
