A former Colorado county Chief of Schools was found dead in Maryland just weeks after he was fired amid a disturbing probe into him for possession of child pornography. Jefferson County (JeffCo) Chief of Schools David Weiss was terminated on December 19 after the sheriff's office launched its investigation. Initially, the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office and school officials refused to reveal the subject of the investigation. Almost two weeks after he was fired, the Maryland Washington County Sheriff's Office informed their Colorado partners of his death.
