Furious Airbnb customer claims rental company refused to refund her after she tried to rebook to property away from LA's raging wildfires
A woman who was unable to make it to her Airbnb reservation due to the ongoing Los Angeles wildfire was refused a refund, with the company claiming that the inferno was not covered by its 'major disruptive events policy'. Finance executive Ana Mostarac contacted Airbnb to request help with re-booking accommodation farther away from the danger zone after the enormous blaze in the Pacific Palisades forced the evacuation of tens of thousands of people.
