Helpless mom watches on FaceTime while twisted boyfriend strangles daughter, 2, to death
A Texas father who strangled his two-year-old daughter to death while on FaceTime with her helpless mother was convicted of capital murder on Friday. Zevaya Flanagan tragically lost her life on March 20, 2023 after her father Deontray Flanagan, 26, strangled and beat her, then placed her in his Chevrolet Camaro and embarked on a wild 45-minute police chase. Deontray picked up his daughter from daycare that morning before heading into a Walmart in North Harris County, where his child's mother, Kairsten Watson, 27, worked, police said.
