Why Tom Brady hiring Pete Carroll at the Raiders is great news for the Kansas City Chiefs
Pete Carroll's move to the Raiders means that the Chiefs will likely retain one of their top coaches next season. Carroll, 73, was tapped by Las Vegas minority owner Tom Brady to be the franchise's next head coach. And that's great news for the Chiefs, as their defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo had previously interviewed for the role. Since joining the Chiefs in 2019, Spagnuolo has led one of the stingiest defensive units in the league, as they've allowed less than 20 points per game in three separate seasons.
