Andy Murray was left angered by a BBC Scotland reporter on Tuesday after he instructed the British tennis legend should retire from the game.

Murray, clearly upset by the publish and accompanying article, responded: 'Tarnishing my legacy? Do me a favour.

'I'm in a terrible second right now I'll offer you that. Most individuals would give up and give up in my state of affairs proper now.

'However I'm not most individuals and my mind works in a different way. I gained't give up. I'll maintain preventing and dealing to supply the performances I know I'm able to.'
